My grandmother bake with real butter, fresh eggs and fresh milk. It seems these days most things are made from mixes and imitation ingredients. At Blu Bow Desserts we remember the indescribable taste from Grandma's cakes, pies and cookies so we follow Grandma's rules in our baking. No mixes at Blu Bow Desserts but you will find plenty of fresh eggs and real butter. We got our name from my first born boy for Blu and my future daughter Bow.

 

 

My name is Krystal Mychelle and I am the creator and baker of Blu Bow Desserts.

I have always had a passion for baking and cooking. It may be hard to believe, but I didn’t formally study culinary or pastry arts in school. I actually obtained my degree in Criminal Justice at Columbus State University  in Columbus, GA and going back to get my masters in chemistry. I am a proven case of ‘you can’t teach passion!’. I absolutely love to learn, especially when the payoff is FOOD related!

I gather my inspiration from my every day-to-day life; whether it be my morning Starbucks, my trip out to the farmers market, flipping through a glossy magazine, my many travels around the world, or even – a new love interest But NONE THE LESS I am so thrilled that I am able to share my passion with so many people! All your cake and desserts designs at Blu Bow Desserts by Mychelle will be beautiful and delicioius because desserts are our passion. Mychelle personally takes the time to understand your needs so that your cake or dessert experience exceeds your expectations in every way.
